CU of Bubbles popping up from behind the counter.
CHEF BUBBLES: Hey!
MS of Anne and Bubbles behind the counter. Anne gets scared.
ANNE: Ah!
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: Want to be on my cooking show?
CU of Anne.
ANNE: Not really.
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: Well, what are you making?
MS of Anne and Bubbles. Anne has sandwich materials laid out in front of her.
ANNE: A sandwich.
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: What kind of sandwich?
CU of Anne
ANNE: A Cuban sandwich.
CU of Bubbles. He nods furiously.
CHEF BUBBLES: And what goes into a Cuban sandwich
CU of Anne.
ANNE: If you must know–

ANNE: It’s made with Cuban bread (she says mockingly), Ham, Pulled Pork, Swiss, Mustard, and Pickles.
MS of Anne and Bubbles at the counter.
CHEF Bubbles: Sounds simple enough.

ANNE: Right?
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: What do you do first?
CU Anne.
ANNE: First–
Bird’s eye of Anne cutting the bread.
ANNE: –you cut the bread in half–
CU of Anne.
ANNE: –obviously.
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: Obviously.

ANNE: Then you slather both sides with mustard.
Bird’s eye: Anne is laying ham slices on one side.
ANNE: Layer one half with ham slices–
Bird’s eye: Anne is laying pulled pork on the other half.
ANNE: –and the other with half with pulled pork.
CU of Anne.
ANNE: Though, I’ve learned that you want to be careful with the pulled pork because if it has too much barbeque sauce, it’ll overtake the mustard.
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: And who would want too much barbeque sauce.
CU of Anne.
ANNE: Well no, you want to taste the mustard in the sandwich, otherwise it defeats the purpose of making a Cuban.
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: Ah, I see.
MS of Bubbles and Anne behind the counter.
ANNE: Once you have that ready–
Bird’s eye of Anne layering the cheese on top of the ham.
ANNE: –layer the Swiss cheese on top of the ham.
Bird’s eye of Anne layering the pickles on the pulled pork.
ANNE: Then lay a row of pickles on the pulled pork.
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: Does it matter which meats you lay the cheese and pickles on?
CU of Anne.
ANNE: Not really, I just like to be consistent. After that, you toss it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes.
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: Do you literally toss it in?
CU of Anne.
ANNE: No, that’s dumb. Aren’t you supposed to be a certified chef?
CU of Bubbles.
CHEF BUBBLES: Uhhh… Yes! Yes, I am. Now it’s my turn. Watch how a pro does it!
MS of the kitchen in a mess. Objects and kitchen ware and ingredients are scattered in a haphazard fashion. Chef Bubbles looks crazed and he’s shaking.
